Dear John,
I am not sure what kind of institution
you work in, or what kind of liturgy
you would like to do, but here is
a kind of general response.
A space that is dedicated for that
purpose is best, i.e. a chapel, church,
etc. However, if that is unavailable,
any kind of space suitable for communal
gatherings is okay.
If you are celebrating a Mass, the
priest would provide the necessary
accoutrements for dressing the "altar",
which can be made from any table.
If it is merely prayer and readings
that you intend, that piece is unnecessary.
Peace,
Bob K.
