Hi, Edna —
Yes!
You can go to as many Masses as you
wish per day, but you can only receive
Holy Communion twice per day.

Hi, Mike —
The way the law is written, barring viaticum,
you may receive communion twice a
day, but the second time must be
a Mass in which you participate.
I presume this means that:
A.) it can't be:
- a Communion service
- a Communion call, or
- a Good Friday/pre-sanctified
liturgy;
B.) you have to be present for
the whole Mass, not just duck
in for Communion.
Canon Law # 917
"One who has received
the Blessed Eucharist may receive
it again on the same day only
within a Eucharistic Celebration
in which that person participates,
without prejudice to the provision
of Canon 921 §2."
Canon Law # 921 §2
"Even if they have already
received Holy Communion that
same day,
it is nevertheless
strongly suggested that in
danger of death they should
communicate again."
