Hi, Kelly —
If you have relations with him, no,
you may not receive Communion.
We
have to presume his prior marriage
is valid until he receives an annulment,
which means we have to presume that
both of you are in an adulterous
relationship until the whole marriage
question is rectified. When you knowingly
and freely are committing a grave
sin, you cannot receive Communion.
In some cases, if you abstain from
relations you can return to Communion
after going to Confession but for
the details of that, consult a priest.
Chiefly, the danger of scandal has
to be avoided. For instance, if someone,
who knows your marital situation,
sees you receiving Communion, they
may get the wrong idea.
