Thanks for the question.

I think you mean the Paschal (Easter) Candle.

I'm not sure so I'm sending this to a priest friend for his two cents.

Baptismal candles are used at Baptisms when someone chooses to enter the Church.

The Paschal candle is lit for Pentecost Sunday. After Pentecost Sunday it is not required.
