Hi, guys —
I am looking into joining the Catholic Church around September (when I can drive to get there) but have been feeling the call to join the spiritual life for a while now, becoming a nun. I know convents don't accept anyone under 18 but my question is:
- Do you have to be Catholic for a certain number of years before you publicly seek a vocation to be a Catholic nun?

You will have to ask the particular order but, in general, I don't believe so.
